On 30th of May Analytica organized an event for promotion of the policy paper called „Energy and security sector governance in Macedonia: how to improve its efficiency?“ .

The research aimed to analyze the energy and security sector governance in Macedonia by focusing on the energy and security sector institutions‘ efficiency in order to draft recommendations for its improvement by drawing lessons from positive Slovak examples, a newer EU and NATO member and former communist country which has noted good development in the mentioned two sectors. The project’s overall aim is contributing to better application of the good governance principles in the two sectors in Macedonia.

The project was funded under the Slovak and Balkan Public Policy Fund Programme with the support of Slovak Aid, implemented by Pontis Foundation and the Balkan Civil Society Development Network (BCSDN).

At the event, Analytica’s researchers Magdalena Lembovska and Ana Stojilovska presented the main findings, while the opening speech was given by the Deputy Ambassador of the Slovak Republic in Macedonia Patricia Dudova. The event was attended by members of the civil society, embassies and state instituitions.
