Research and Management Coordinator Sonja Zuber attended on the 19th of October, the second day of the TEHNOMA Fair in Skopje. She had a presentation at the conference: "Actions, Examples and Good Practices for Investing in RES" organized by the Energy Agency of the Republic of Macedonia.

Research and Management Coordinator Sonja Zuber attended on the 19th of October, the second day of the TEHNOMA Fair in Skopje. She had a presentation at the conference: "Actions, Examples and Good Practices for Investing in RES" organized by the Energy Agency of the Republic of Macedonia. She presented the work of the Synergies for Energy Awareness Change Network and the final advocacy document coming from that project. The main conclusion was that the region of South East Europe has vast possibilities for expanding the RES final input in the energy sector but that more emphasis should be put on exploring the so-called clean energies (solar, wind) than on building big hydropower plants and that the protection of the environment should not and must not be forgotten when foreign investors are investing in the energy sectors of the countries of SEE.
