TRAIN Program, Closing Seminar: 5-9 December 2010, Brussels

The two researchers of Analytica, Agim Selami and Sonja Risteska, attended the closing seminar of the TRAIN Program, held between 5-9 December 2010, in Brussels. Within the frame of the activities envisaged for this event, the researchers had the chance to present their policy brief to the representatives of the European Commission (Mr. Pierre Mirel, Ms. Tzvetelina Tzvetkova, Ms. Maria Justesen, Mr. Christos Aivaliotis, and Ms. Una Forgic); as well as to some representatives of the European Parliament (Ms. Doris Pack, Mr. Hans Swoboda, Mr. Zoran Thaler, Mr. Eduard Kukan, and Mr. Charles Tannock). Another interesting meeting took place at the premises of the European Policy Centre (Brussels based think tank) where the participants of the TRAIN Program presented their research findings to Ms Rosa Balfour (EPC), Mr. Fabrice de Kerchove (King Baudouin Foundation), and Ms Alexandra Stiglmayer (European Stability Initiative). The presentations were followed by interesting debates on each of the policy briefs separately.
