9th Mapping Workshop in Tirana
24th and 25th October 2011, Tirana, Albania, Andreja Bogdanovski, Security Research Fellow and Milka Ivanovska Research Intern attended the 9th Workshop as part of the project: Civil Society Capacity Building to Map and Monitor Security Sector Reform in the Western Balkans. The workshop was organized by the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF), Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) and the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP).

The workshop was organized by the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces (DCAF), Institute for Democracy and Mediation (IDM) and the Belgrade Centre for Security Policy (BCSP).
The first part of the workshop was dedicated to reviewing the draft Almanac chapters by two external reviewers - Prof. Timothy Donais, Associate Professor, Global Studies, Laurier University, Canada and Dr. Cornelius Friesendorf Lecturer, Goethe University, Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The second part of the Workshop was devoted to the topic of Advocacy, held by Adrian Taylor, Foresight to Strategy for Security and Sustainability in Governance. This workshop represents the final the last one before the actual launch of the Almanach which is projected to happen at the beginning of 2012 in Belgrade.
